Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Innovative Valley (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a consumer mobile app studio operating the website innovativevalley.tech and the mobile applications we publish on the Apple App Store and Google Play. For the purposes of the EU/UK GDPR, the data controller is [Your registered business name], [Your business address]. You can reach our privacy team at contact@innovativevalley.tech.
2. Scope of this policy
This policy covers personal data handled through this website and, by default, through our apps. Each app also has its own privacy policy describing exactly what that app collects; where an app’s policy differs, the app-specific policy controls. Links to each app’s policy appear on its App Store and Google Play listing.
3. Data we collect
On this website
- Contact form data — the name, email, topic and message you submit so we can reply.
- Technical logs — our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and reliability.
In our apps
- Account data (only if an app offers accounts) — such as email and authentication identifiers.
- Content you create within an app, stored to provide the service.
- Diagnostics — crash and performance data, where enabled, to fix bugs.
We design our apps to collect the minimum needed. Any app that collects more (for example, location or health data) will say so prominently, request your permission, and disclose it in its own policy and store privacy labels.
4. How we use data
We use personal data to: respond to enquiries; provide, maintain and improve our apps; keep services secure and prevent abuse; comply with legal obligations; and, only with your consent, send updates you have asked for. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
5. Legal bases (GDPR/UK GDPR)
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: consent (e.g. optional communications); contract (to deliver an app you use); legitimate interests (security, product improvement, responding to you); and legal obligation where required by law.
6. Sharing & service providers
We share data only with processors who help us run the service, under contract and on our instructions, including: our website host (Hostinger), our email provider, our contact-form delivery provider, and app-platform infrastructure (Apple, Google) for distribution and crash reporting. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
7. Cookies & similar technologies
This website is built to work without advertising or third-party tracking cookies. If we add privacy-respecting analytics in future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first. Our apps use only the storage necessary to function unless an app states otherwise.
8. Data retention
We keep contact enquiries for as long as needed to handle your request and a reasonable period afterwards, then delete or anonymise them. App account data is retained while your account is active; you can request deletion at any time (see Delete account & data).
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of “sale”/“sharing” (we do neither). To exercise any right, email contact@innovativevalley.tech — we respond within the timeframes required by law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
10. Children’s privacy
Our website and apps are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) unless an individual app explicitly states it is designed for children and complies with COPPA and Google Play / App Store family policies. We do not knowingly collect data from children outside those cases; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Security
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk — including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls — to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you and regulators of breaches where the law requires.
12. Changes & how to contact us
We may update this policy as our products evolve; we will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Questions or requests? Email contact@innovativevalley.tech or our developer team at developer@innovativevalley.tech.
